Over the course of "connecting " on line, there had been difficulties logging on together as sessions have commenced.I'm attempting to troubleshoot and rectify where the issues may be.
This morning, everything appeared correct and the session was anticipated to commence with ease. Unfortunately, as I was anticipating Chris joining me in session, mom indicated that they were having difficulty. Mom and I spoke via phone, as I navigated and re-sent our morning "connection link" which appeared to send to Chris' email successfully. Mom was not at home during this window of time and she suggested that perhaps it might be best to just plan for next week.

Oddly we have had challenges with our initial connection as our session begin. Once we "connect " all goes smoothly This is the only family that seems to have glitches, or the email "confirmation to meet" doesn't go through. I'm not sure of why, as all appears to go smoothly on my end. Mom wasn't home this morning as Chris and I tried to connect, and she shared that his phone was also broken. She opted to "give Chris a break" and just plan for next week. She also shard that she would be fine with using another way to connect like, Zoom, and that Chris' psych connects with him via zoom. Although she shared that "she was fine with whatever platform we use, and that it doesn't need to be HIPAA compliant," I do need to comply with my ASHA guidelines. I had looked into the version of HIPAA compliant Zoom initially and it was much more expensive per month than the THeraplatform. I will look into other options for her, but they are the only family that seems to have difficulties connecting. My fees to THeraplatfom have already been paid, so I'll need to find perhaps another HIPAA platform with a modest fee. Just wanted to let you know .
