GT was shown a collection of vertebrae (bones). We examined, as best we could, the differences in size, texture, density, and weight, and discussed form follows function. We talked about the massive increase in chromosomes that occurred for this phyla to flourish. We started a list of Chordates, with the three Sub-Phyla, (Urochordata, Cephalochordate, and Vertebrata) and the characteristics that distinguish each group.
