Arianna completed an IXL vocabulary lesson on finding synonyms in context. She read a Newsela article about a self-destructing painting by the artist Banksy. After recalling the sad events in yesterday's reading, we continued with 'Ember.' Today, we were presented with a new mystery and its answer all in one chapter. Arianna noted that this book is like several stories in one, because of all the unanswered questions and mysterious events.
