Hank reviewed idioms and similes, then practiced identifying and creating metaphors. He completed an activity comparing similes to metaphors. In reading the next chapters, we will look for examples of these figurative language devices. Hank is quite good at this! He read the next three chapters of ‘Wonder’ from Summer’s view, focusing on making inferences and supporting them with textual evidence.
