I began with a review of the sound deck with visual, auditory, and blending drills. The grapheme deck was the same as yesterday; phonemes reviewed were /er/, /ar/, /or/, /A/, /E/. The words on the blending board included beak, peak, speak, spork, dork, fork. Wyatt was eager to play a game, so we played Phonics Dice with CVC words. He read a chapter of the decodable book "The Green Fern Zoo: River Otters."
