Lesson Topic
Habitat needs for healthy animals
Lesson Outline
Started in Science room to see how the plant terrarium set up is coming along, explaining how it has been set up to replicate the natural habitat of a Panther Chameleon (Furcifer pardalis) from NW Madagascar, where I work with conservation of plants and animals in the field with Malagasy people.

Spent some time coloring book pages of other animals from Madagascar, discussing their ecology such as habitat (temperature, humidity, plants, light, soil) and dietary needs.

Assignment
Look up how chameleons eat on Google, with projectile tongues
