We did not take our field trip this week because Sophia was absent for 2 of the class periods. This set us back. Additionally, her cumulative grade for the week did not reach the 85% that was needed to earn the trip.
She hadn't studied for the test today, but luckily still did well. She was supposed to finish outlining the chapter, as prep for the test. She can bring it Monday, but 10% will be taken off.
Overall, she is doing well with the information and linking the ideas much better now. She is not as concerned with history following a specific, perfect path. She is more comfortable with the trends and explaining them.
