Lesson Outline
Richard was greeted in his classroom. He arrived at 8:37 with his aunt. We started the session recalling events from the holiday weekend. He demonstrated mild word finding and sequencing difficulties. With prompting, he did generate a story about his Easter weekend with his cousins and grandparents - he told me about the Easter egg hunt. Speech intelligibility was considered fair today. He had intermittent instances of interdental lisp and increased rate of speech, especially with topics of interest. He did well with the date/day of week task today. We targeted possessives and plurals in unstructured tasks, which he did well with today. We read a book together - "Cliffords Manners". We applied the manners in the book to situations that may happen in our lives. He enjoyed this task and it was a good activity for social skills and conversational turn taking. Over all, Richard did well this session.
