Richard was greeted on time in the lobby. He was in a good mood and happy upon transition to his class. We started the session with date/day of week. He is getting very excited for his upcoming birthday! We targeted /s/ and rate of speech while discussing birthday party plans with family. Of course, this was a topic of high interest therefore he required increased cues to reduce rate of speech and interdental lisp. We targeted possessives throughout the session, Richard continues to demonstrate difficulty independently however will correct with minimal cues. We read a book of his choice to work on /s/ and answering questions based on auditory comprehension which he did well with. We targeted topic initiation, maintenance & conclusion. Overall, Richard did well today. We will continue to target speech and language goals.
