Lesson Outline
Dutch and I reviewed early migration in the United States. Dutch created a chart with the four Native American tribes discussed in the textbook. He wrote facts about each Native Americans and drew a picture in the chart. Dutch wrote a letter to a friend acting like an Inuit. He added details about what he hunted, the climate, inventions, and how life was as an Inuit. Dutch and I began reading in the textbook about European migration to the United States. We discussed Columbus' adventures and the Vikings. Dutch identified columbus' achievements, hardships, and needs to create a voyage.
