Chris participated in a virtual session from school once more. The session commenced with Chris sharing his bass guitar and his mic and mic stand. He demonstrated some of his moves and shared that he feels that he is more of lead singer than a bass player. This new found interest has now afforded the opportunity to highlight conversational expansion in a novel way, as he is repeatedly and happily surprised at the knowledge that I am able to provide regarding this topic. This shared knowledge base has facilitated stronger motivation and extended periods of strong sustained attention. The focus within expansion continues to be on supporting contingent reciprocal exchanges. Comment/ fact sharing is a strength for Chris, and goals continue to focus on expansion of cycles of reciprocity, supporting topic maintenance. In addition, Chris also wanted to share many of his videos that he is creating. Scaffolding strategies to support aspects of narration were successful. The session closed just shy of the time allotted as Chris received a message and asked to please "finish and do more on Monday" as he "needed to go see Dutch." He hurriedly and anxiously was wanting to leave. We closed the session. Stronger session today.
