Lesson Outline
Chris once again participated in the session virtually. His motivation to continue to share and "discuss" details related to the topic of Rock music continues to be a springboard for expanded conversational exchange. Scaffolding to support the allowance of reciprocity, use of cohesive tiles, contingent comment and question indicating acknowledgment of partner's role within the exchange continue to be facilitative. Additionally, Chris was eager to share details of the events occurring involving his "movie production." Supports and strategies to assist in navigating the social dynamics of the peers involved within the movie making was shared with Chris. Aspects of perspective taking, paired with strategies adapted from "Social Thinking" were reviewed.
The session closed at the 50 minute mark as attentional shift was strong upon concern regarding his phone, as he had dropped it and it appeared that there was a crack in the front glass panel.
