Lines that are perpendicular have slopes that are opposite reciprocals of each other. In this case, the product of the slopes of perpendicular lines is -1. Baylie was given equations of different lines and had to answer questions about the slopes of lines that are parallel or perpendicular to the given line. She did a great job!
