Jaydn was absent for about the 12th time today. She was at a Dr.appt. Once Jaydn feels better, it will be so wonderful to have her back in school. Remote learning is not an optimal way for a student like Jaydn to learn. Also, since there is no visual during our remote lessons, I can't physically see Jaydn and help to guide her with tasks like reading, reference, inference. It's hard to assess Jaydn's abilities when we do have these remote lessons. In our current learning format, Jaydn's reading comprehension needs needs work as it's not coming across at grade level. Because of all these absenses, Jaydn has yet to take any formal assessment in history class.Please, please let me know how I may adjust or tweak the curriculum for Jaydn to assist her until she can return to school.
