Cabo read, analyzed, and discussed three chapters of A Thousand Splendid Suns. He answered in writing critical thinking questions about the chapters with relation to the characters' motivations, the government and its effect on the people, and the use of irony in the chapters. Cabo then reviewed SAT vocabulary being studied and applied the words in context. He began the writing of a compare and contrast essay.
