Lesson Outline
I showed Jaydn how the properties of kites connects them to other quadrilaterals. By doing so I was able to show her how to calculate the individual side lengths and angles in kites. I also asked her to decide certain true-false questions and answer sometimes-always-never questions about kites. There was no assignment.

When Jaydn was unable to follow my lead in the lesson, she admitted that she had lost her book within her room and therefore, the lesson had to be done without a book or any visual reference with her, which made the teaching process less than optimum. I told her to try to locate her book over the holidays.
