We reviewed and discussed vocabulary words for the next story in his language arts book. He completed questions for chapter 3 of, "From the Mixed-Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler." He finished an activity pertaining to his Wordly Wise vocabulary words delving into their meanings, usage, and derivations. We talked about and completed an activity on writing a letter. We discussed the 5 most important parts of a friendly letter. He then wrote his own letter in his notebook, making sure to include all 5 parts and using the correct punctuation.
