We took a break from "The Hate You Give", and Jayne writing her novel. Instead we read and discussed the short story by Kurt Vonnegut "Harrison Bergeron", a clever piece about a society where everyone must have equal abilities, so those who are gifted in any way are given "handicaps" by the government. Jayne thought it dark, so I'll find something lighter.
