We took a break from "The Hate U Give" and Jayne's novel, and read the short story "Dead Man's Path" by Chinua Achebe in which a new headmaster who has been educated in England tries to impose"modern" changes to the very traditional African school. It doesn't work. Jayne couldn't relate to it, so I'll try again.
