Lesson Topic
Immune and Lymphatic System.
Lesson Outline
We have continued learning about the anatomy and physiology of the immune and lymphatic systems. We learned that all of the leukocytes, or white blood cells, of the immune system, are produced by the red bone marrow. Leukocytes can be further broken down into 2 groups based upon the type of stem cells that produce them: myeloid stem cells and lymphoid stem cells.
