We reviewed his new spelling words and their meanings. He completed an activity using his Wordly Wise words and matching synonyms. He learned how to write in cursive the letter h in the words half, cheek, and fish. We discussed the meaning of a noun, and worked on an activity where he had to identify and label what kind of noun was in the sentences. We reexamined the vocabulary words from the story, "Interrupted Journey Saving Endangered Sea Turtles." As he read the story, we focused on the main ideas and supporting details.
