Chris initiated conversation rapidly, as he was focused on the school week ahead, formal testing, and the change in the plans for recess due to testing. Supports were provided to assist in navigating his concerns. Topic transition was subsequently supported through direct question across 5 opportunities. Chris provided detail in response to the question stimuli presented. It is noted however, that attentional shifting was strong for the duration of the session, as Chris continued to revisit the concerns that he had shared as the session commenced. Additional problem solving strategies, and supports were provided. Review of the key aspects of perspective taking were emphasized.
