Brandon performed an experiment using a STEM dinosaur crystal set. He helped read the steps to make a crystal plant which involved measuring, stirring a solution, and combining and mixing a variety of ingredients included in the set until they fully dissolved. We timed the steps in accordance with directives. The solution will begin to crystallize in 24 hours, and will be fully formed in 6 - 10 days. Brandon followed directives well. His performance was facilitated by verbal prompts. He also worked well with a peer when they collaborated on certain steps of the procedure together. His sister participated in the experiment for the last half hour of the session.
