Santino was seen for ST for 60 minute session. He reportedly was up very early this morning however he did not appear tired for my session. Santino greeted with moderate prompting "Ms. Amanda, hi". When we saw other peers and teachers that greeted him, we worked on appropriate responses as well. We're continuing to target requesting in full sentences or at least longer utterances. Santino requested to go outside on the playground. He has been exploring with more of the playground equipment, becoming more brave and requesting new things to do outside. It's been fun to watch his development. In addition, we targeted "wh" questions - differentiating between what and where. As well as differentiating between verb and noun. We did a new verb task that was a "match it puzzle" game that had an illustration to a verb word. Santino did well with this for being the first time exposed to these pictures. In addition, lately when I have been asking his name - he has not been responding at all or saying my name. I will continue to wrk on this consistently during our sessions for safety and pragmatic purposes. Lastly, we worked on ADL's (activities of daily living). He changed his diaper (shoes off, shorts off, diaper in garbage, new diaper on, shorts on, shoes on, wash hands, use soap, dry hands). He requires the most support with knowing what direction the shorts go on "tag goes in the back" and which foot the shoes go on. Besides that, he is doing well with it at a much faster pace. It was a good session over all.
