Lesson Topic
Life Science - Gardening Log and Pollinators
Lesson Outline
Today, Atticus and I completed our daily gardening log observations. We then began reading an article on pollinator.org discussing what pollinators are and why they are important. He began taking notes on the subject. We discussed that pollinators are important in creating our food, textiles, preventing soil erosion and preventing climate change. We then went back outside for the last 5 minutes of class and used the Seek app to identify the plant Moses-In-The-Cradle, which is growing outside the playground fence.
