Lesson Topic
Native American History: Origins of Early People in the Americas
Lesson Outline
Several ideas exist about the origins of early people in the Americas. Today we explored the Bering Land Bridge Theory, the Atlantic Theory, the Oceania Theory as to how early people arrived in the Americas. The most evidence available makes the arrival of people across the Bering Land Bridge almost definite. There is also good evidence for the Atlantic Theory and Oceania Theory as well, but the evidence is far thinner. Many other theories exist, but what we know for sure is that thousands of years ago, people migrated from other continents to the Americas. Jaydn took a comprehension quiz at the end of class.

Lesson Comments
Jadyn says the camera she ordered for her PC doesn't work. Midway through class she said she had to log off her lap-top as it was losing power and go onto her PC, with no visual. We didn't have a visual for the second half of class today.
