After Atticus completed a quiz on chapters 5-7 of the novel, we continued instruction on essay writing. After reviewing the outline we drafted yesterday, we composed a topic sentence on the character of Claudia, the novel's protagonist , and proceeded to introduce the general ideas in an introductory paragraph.
