Joshua and I will be reviewing material because his homework is not as good as it should be. During class, he appears to understand well and to grasp new ideas very quickly. In addition, during problem sessions in class, he is able to solve most problems easily. Unfortunately, his in-class performance is not matched in his homework. Although he is diligent about doing the homework and returning it to me, most of his answers are wrong. He seems unable to apply concepts that he had mastered only a few hours earlier. I am hoping that reviewing the concepts will cement them in his mind zo that his homework performance improves. Needless to say, his ability to answer homework problems correctly will be closely correlated with his ability to answer AP exam questions correctly.
