In conjunction with reviewing Atticus' revised homework , I explained how to write a summary of events in the novel and how to respond to questions seeking the experiences of a character. Atticus then took a short quiz on chapters 7-9.During the second segment of the session, we continued to work on Atticus' essay. After reviewing our outline, Atticus did very well in completing the essay by using clear specific language and textual examples followed by a thoughtful conclusion on the need for freedom of choice in a society.
