Today, Atticus and I discussed another one of the 6 characteristics of living things: maintaining internal conditions (homeostasis). In our workbook, he recorded his definition of homeostasis, and examples of processes the human body uses to maintain homeostasis. We viewed an Amoeba Sisters video of homeostasis, at the end discussing the following main points: definition of homeostasis, endotherm/ectotherm, negative feedback. I explained that next week we will begin a final project on the 6 characteristics of living things.
