Today, Atticus completed his daily mental warm-up exercises. He then completed his 6 Characteristics of Living Things Project. He read a passage in his workbook about prokaryotes, eukaryotes, and organelles. He completed a Venn diagram comparing and contrasting prokaryotic and eukaryotic cells. He read about the 3 domains of life: bacteria, archaea and eukarya. He read about the kingdoms of each domain, then read a passage discussing if viruses are living or nonliving. He researched further questions he has about viruses, preparing to write a paragraph about his findings.
