Chris was eager for the session to commence as he rapidly initiated conversation this morning. Attentional shifting was strong and familiar scaffolding supports were provided. Conversational expansion was facilitated by the use of predominantly question driven stimuli, as comment-comment exchanges were characterized by simple affirmation and subsequent topic change. Familiar cues were provided throughout the session, as transition phrases were utilized. However, it is noted that use of "Ms. Lynne, I gotta question" and " I need to tell you something" were used interchangeably regardless of the content of Chris' message. Familiar supports facilitated subsequent increased self awareness, instances of self correction, clarity of intent and increased linguistic organization.
