During the course of reading the first four chapters, we have discussed vocabulary words relating to theme such as atavism and primordial. Today, I prepared a vocabulary lesson on the first four chapters focusing on the other vocabulary words. Jaydn reviewed definitions and placed into sentences advanced vocabulary such as : insular, lugubrious, covert, obdurate, and insidious. We further discussed how the author uses these words in the context of the novel.
