Lesson Outline
Atticus and I read about the structure and support systems of plants: roots and stems. We learned about woody and herbaceous plant stems. We Observed a diagram of a tree with a vine growing around it. Atticus recorded his observations that the tree was a woody stem and the vine was a herbaceous stem, and why he thought this. In a Venn diagram, he compared and contrasted plant and animal support and structure systems.
