Lesson Outline
Today, we read about what happens to oxygen after it enters the lungs. We learned the key term, alveoli. We added this word and drew an illustration in our science notebook. We analyzed a diagram of alveoli in lungs, and how they perform gas exchange with capillaries. Atticus wrote an argument refuting the claim that blood has no role in breathing. He provided evidence to support his argument.
