Lesson Outline
Liam completed and activity utilizing his knowledge of writing statements. He wrote his new vocabulary words into his interactive notebook. He used his glossary skills to look up the definitions and then write the definitions into his notebook. We discussed what historical fiction is and he wrote the definition into his notebook. He read the story, “Jane’s Discovery.” We discussed the use of the ‘s -to be used to show ownership. He learned about cause and effect through story details.
