We learned that in the Cartesian system, a plane is divided into four regions by the X and Y axes. These four regions are known as quadrants. Each quadrant has ordered pairs of x and y coordinates (x, y). We completed homework requiring plotting and naming points in quadrants. Then we identified quadrants based on inequalities. We completed the homework in class.
