Atticus performed the lab, "Transferring Temperatures." This lab explored how thermal energy transfers from an area of high concentration of thermal energy to an area of low concentration of thermal energy. We placed a hot water beaker into a cold water beaker, measuring the before and after temperatures of the water. He answered the follow up questions identifying patterns in the data and inferring the direction of energy transfer.
