Atticus modeled three ways that water enters the atmosphere and used arrows and labels to show the transfer of energy that drives the cycling of water from Earth's surface to Earth's atmosphere: evaporation, transpiration and respiration. We discussed the relationship between water in the atmosphere and bodies of water, plants and living things. We discussed what happens to water vapor that has evaporated into the atmosphere, and what temperature it is in the atmosphere when you see your breath.
