We began the lesson discussing the impact of Greek and Latin roots on the English language. Atticus was offered support to complete four (4) pages of exercises to facilitate comprehension, recall, and spelling skills for the fifteen (15) words reviewed, and he demonstrated competence and adequate synthesis, integration, and application of the material when completing the exercises. Atticus worked largely independently on the assignment and maintained good focus throughout.
