Chris enthusiastically initiated conversation this morning. He was eager to share some of the new ideas that he had for a new video series, as well as his thoughts on collaboration with other "You Tubers." Familiar scaffolding supports were provided as Chris began to narrate a new story line as the basis for a new "series" that he was creating. Story grammar elements were subsequently included within his narrative with minimal cueing.
Topic transition was facilitated through the use of indirect questioning, allowing for expansion into aspects of social inferencing and collaboration. Strategies to support continued utilization of novel language within peer exchanges were acknowledged. Strong session today, as Chris continues to demonstrate increased self awareness and metalinguistic skills.
