Today we finished up section 1.4 by covering how to go from rational exponents (fraction powers) to radical forms (root forms). We used the acronym "BOTI" which stands for "Bottom-Out-Top-In". This helps the student know where to put the denominator (outside of ther root), and the numerator (inside the root). We practiced writing them in radical form and exponential form and simplifying.
