Richard was seen in his room for a 45 minute treatment session today. Focus of treatment was on improving fine motor skills (hand strength, grip strength, dexterity and manipulation), visual motor integration, ocular motor skills, and graphomotor skills/keyboarding as an alternate means to written communication. Richard started today's session learning a new letter in script island. He is on the group called "Up and Around to Mikey's Hut". Each letter in this group is formed with a lowercase cursive "c" and today Richard was instructed on lowercase letter "a". Next, we worked on visual pursuits using the Ann Arbor tracking program. Richard was able to track and circle words of a sentence scrambled in a paragraph within 28 seconds. Good session.
