Luke was seen in his room for a 45 minute occupational therapy treatment session. Focus of treatment was on improving his bilateral integration/hand usage, fine motor development, graphomotor skills, postural control and sensory processing/organization for improved general performance in various environments. Began today's session working on bilateral hand skills by making snowflakes with scissors to hang on his ceiling. Luke was able to stay on task and cut well today. He placed his thumb in one whole and index and middle fingers in second hole to cut. He was able to separate his radial side from ulnar side of his hand for cutting. Continued to work on upper case letters in Print Island. He was able to sit and focus on writing several letters today. He was instructed on "T, I, J and we continued with R". Great session.
