Today we began in AP Classroom by going through his homework. Joshua had difficulty with one problem. We looked up a video on AP Classroom to help clarify the concept of Log scales. Then we went back to the problem and tried it. It was a problem regarding Richter-scale and Earthquakes. It was difficult, but we were able to work through it together. Then we started a new lesson 2.12 Properties of Logarithms. We practiced expanding and condensing logs, changing the base, and evaluating logs. These are kind of like a puzzle piece to figure out. Joshua did well with this.
