Aiden requested we go back through the previous chapters and take some notes on previously learned material. He was upset that we did not take notes properly the first half of the year (title, date). He said he feels like he's forgotten what he's learned and wanted to take notes to review. Last week we did that for Chapter 1. Today we got through Chapter 2 and half of CHapter 3. We discussed unit rates, proportions, percents, and more. We wrote down the pertinent information and organized each topic by section. Aiden thanked me at the end of the lesson and asked if we could continue to do this until we've reviewed all his material. I am hoping we can dedicate 5-10 minutes each class on older material and then use the rest of class on the new material. Once we finish the "old" material, I will give Aiden "Warm-up" problems on previously learned material to help with his confidence that he still has the knowledge he's already gained this year.
