Today Matthew and I discussed properties of logarithms. Matthew took notes on the board as I showed him the power rule, the product rule, and the quotient rule for logarithms. I showed Matthew a few examples and then he practiced on his own. He got practice expanding logarithms and condensing them. These problems are like a puzzle piece. It requires a little creativity to get to where you want to go. With more practcie Matthew will become more fluent with the process.
