Lesson Comments
Jackson arrives with a lot on his mind with Life and Baseball. We talk about reporters, anchors, journalist and baseball players focusing on what they CAN control since so many veritable are out of ones ability to impact one way or another. Discuss current stories and stress examples of reporting a story. Since his parent situation was quite obviously paramount on his mind. Use that example to illustrate lesson. There are 3 sides to the story. Dad's version, Mom's version and he as a reporter would have to lay all the facts out down the middle & let the audience decide. I honestly stopped him a couple from telling me details--I don't to know and none of my business. However, rather losing him mentally for the session I morphed what was on his mind into a lesson.
