Lesson Outline
The session commenced with Chris sharing that he had "a lot to talk about today." Attention was strong, and he clearly was determined to discuss the many topics that were on his mind. He rapidly began by stating that he wanted to talk about the "most important thing on his mind first." Allowance for reciprocity was strong across all topics this morning. Use of familiar transition phrases to allow for more successful topic transition was also strong today. This increase is notable, adding to the natural flow of conversation with more fluidity, and increased integration of true intention and novel language use. Use of the phrase "what do you think?" has increased over the last few sessions, and today that "question" was followed by expansion, and notable wait time, allowing for a full response. Previously, question driven phrases were utilized, however, were typically followed by statements often consisting of "TV talk" or previously learned utterances, with variable allowance for full response. Self awareness continues to be emerging strongly, and expanded "meta" skills continue to blossom. Ability to infer and problem solve, with increased consideration of perspective and presupposition continues to increase as well.
