Lesson Outline
Chris continues to inquire about the topics that have been a focal point of recent sessions. Chris initiated the session today with a multitude of specific questions, and presented with a rather "concerned" affect. This afforded the opportunity to once again segue into key aspects of perspective taking, presupposition, mindfulness, "filtering," and the nuances of intentionality.
Predicting outcomes, and identifying correlations between actions and consequences were also explored in greater detail this session. Speaker -listener reciprocity was characterized by increased instances of speaker- speaker overlap. Self awareness was noted, allowing for repair of the overlap approximately 60 % of the time today. Attentional shifting and topic shifting were noted with increased frequency today, and were supported with familiar cue supports and strategies. Additional supports, including familiar techniques adapted from the "Social Thinking" literature as well as utilization of the "zones of regulation" were provided and were extremely facilitative today.
